• 250 g of margarine
  • 350 grams of sugar
  • 5 large eggs (split)
  • 200 g of fruit juice Orange
  • 100 g of cognac
  • 1 cl. Cinnamon – cloves – nutmeg mixed
  • 150 g of walnuts
  • 2 vanilla
  • zest with 2 oranges
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 g Farina

How to make?

Beat the butter with the sugar in the mixer for 5-6 minutes to soften well. Add one egg yolk, to be absorbed each time by the mixture.
Beat the egg whites with salt until gentle peaks form. Pour into the butter mixture, alternately flour and juice.

Finally, add half of the meringue to dilute the mixture. Pour the walnuts and the rest of the meringue and mix. Gently spread the mixture with the spatula. Empty it in a 28cm baking pan, poured and rolled up with labels.

Bake in a preheated oven at 170 ° C on the last grill until it rises, peels off the walls and peaches well. We check whether it is baked with the blade of the knife. If it comes out clean it’s ready.
Let it stand 10 ‘in the pan. We defuse, remove the label. We wrinkle with dust and write with melted chocolate greetings for the year.
