  • 12 puff pastry (thawed at room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2.5 tablespoons butter in room temperature
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tea spoon powder red pepper
  • 1 tea spoon black pepper
  • 1 sweet spoon salt

    For the above:

  • 1 egg yolk

Key point

When you boil the potatoes you will put turmeric in the potatoes to make it have a yellow color. You can also add flavor by adding other spices that you like.

Cooking Advice

You can sprinkle with cilantro or sesame seeds.

How is it prepared?

  1. Peel the potatoes’ shells, divide them into 4 equal pieces and transfer them into a pot.

  2. Add hot water on top. Add 1 teaspoon salt and turmeric and boil well.

  3. Remove excess water from boiled potatoes and place in a container.

  4. Add hot butter over it and crush it well with a crusher or a fork.

  5. Thoroughly sieve the onions.

  6. Take olive oil and onions in a roof and roast it.

  7. Then transfer the onions to the potatoes. Add the spices and salt and mix well.

  8. Add 1-2 tablespoons of sprinkles into the dough doughs thawed at room temperature. Close it in triangular form.

  9. Combine the edges with the fork or with your hand.

  10. Transfer onto baking tray with baking sheet. Apply the egg whites, slightly whipped with a brush.

  11. At about 180 degrees, bake the dough for about 15-20 minutes and cook until it turns red. Take it out and eat it.
