Ingredients for recipe

For the dough

  • 115 g butter
  • 15 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • Salt
  • 1 egg
  • 4-5 meal spoon cream
  • 1 water glass almond
  • 1 egg yolk

For the above

  • 5 figs
  • 1 tablespoon shredded fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

For service

  • Mint leaves

  • Get a large mixing bowl of butter and powdered sugar for the dough. Beat with the help of a mixer until it reaches the creamy consistency. Add a pinch of salt, flour, eggs and cream and knead until a smooth dough is obtained. Wrap the dough on a stretch film and let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • For the sake, cut the figs into thin half-moon form and take them to a large vault. Add fresh ginger, corn flour and powdered sugar and blend.
  • Squeeze the rested dough with the help of a roller. Cover the incisions on the sides and edges of the dough in such a way that the edges remain empty. Spread egg whites and sprinkle almonds on the edges. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated 200 degree oven. Serve with mint leaves.
